About Dr. Mohamed Wardani

Dr. Mohamed Wardani is an Associate Professor of Islamic Studies and the current Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Sciences at Nur-Mubarak University in Almaty, Kazakhstan. With over twelve years of academic experience, he has taught a wide range of Islamic studies courses in both Arabic and English across prominent institutions, including Al-Azhar University, the International Islamic University in Pakistan, and Nur-Mubarak University.

A specialist in Hadith and its sciences, Dr. Wardani holds a Ph.D. with first-class honors from Al-Azhar University, where his scholarly journey began with a focus on prophetic traditions and their relevance in contemporary contexts. His academic bilingualism (Arabic–English) has enabled him to engage deeply with global intellectual currents and to teach students from more than seventy nationalities.

Throughout his career, Dr. Wardani has supervised numerous postgraduate theses, contributed to curriculum development, and participated in quality assurance and academic planning. His research over the past few years has centered on modern intellectual trends and their intersection with Islamic thought.

He has published widely in both Arabic and English, including scholarly books and conference papers on Hadith sciences, interfaith dialogue, and Islamic ethics. Dr. Wardani is also an active participant in international symposia and a member of various academic associations, where he contributes to intercultural dialogue and academic cooperation.

A passionate educator and community mentor, he also offers voluntary instruction in Islamic studies to non-native speakers, reflecting his commitment to accessible and inclusive religious education.
